Berlon's skid steer snowblade attachment is ideal for a wide variety of snowplowing.
Berlon's skid steer snowblade attachment is ideal for a wide variety of snowplowing. The moldboard is made from stainless steel to prevent rusting and to aid in the prevention of snow and ice build-up.
Like truck-mounted snowplows, this skid steer attachment plow has a full-blade trip feature that allows the blade to tip forward if the skid steer operator hits an obstruction – protecting the equipment and the operator. Dual shock absorbers act as another pair of springs, slowing the blade as it trips forward and minimizing a hard snap back.
Adjusts on Uneven Surfaces
The Berlon skid steer snowblade has a side-to-side tip/oscillation for plowing on uneven surfaces. The snowblade features hydraulic angling and can be positioned 30 degrees left or right of center, or anywhere between. An optional shoe kit is available for either skid steer or compact tractor applications to reduce wear of the cutting edge as well as minimize aggregate removal when plowing gravel surfaces.
The bolt-on cutting edge is 3/4" thick, 8" wide and double-beveled so it can be reversed for extended wear life.
Other than the stainless steel skin, the remainder of this snow blade is powder painted black.
Our SBLD line is available in 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 foot widths, and comes standard with hoses and couplers. A universal skid steer mount, our model MPUF-3, also is included.
